Saniye Söylemez graduated from the department of chemistry, Mugla University in 2009. She obtained her MS degree, in Chemistry from Kahramanmaras Sütçü İmam University in 2012 January. In her MS studies, she focused on the investigation of changing on human blood samples (serum, plasma and erytrocyte) paraoxonase, arylesterase, arginase enzyme activities and oxidative stress (nitric oxide, malondialdehyde) in people who use Maras powder and comparing with smokers. Then, she joined the group of Prof. Dr. Levent Toppare in 2012 March. She is currently a PhD student at department of chemistry, METU as teaching assistant and working on conducting polymer based biosensors.
